Medication only helps with severe depression

This article begs the question of why antidepressants are prescribed for everything under the sun seemingly, including even mild depression. Why do we keep using them if they don't work. Seems like considering other options might be a much better idea, rather than suffering the serious side effects that can occur. check out this web site if you get a chance (www.netmindbody.com). It may be the best way to get to the bottom of what appears like depression.

Attending a seminar with a very educated, highly qualified and very respected Psychiatrist, I sat in amazement when he described how giving meds to patients simply was an experiment...if one doze does not work, try the next, then the next, etc... I knew that already, but I guess I was not expecting him to admit it so readily.

I whole heartedly agree with you. If there are other ways to figure out how to take the pain and strain off of people, it should at least be looked at. However, cautiously! There are so many charlatans out there that are only interested in taking people's money but have no real interest in helping a person out of pain...and end up doing much more harm.
