Fasting and Chemotherapy Damage
This is an preliminary study on fasting and the effect it has on chemotherapy damage. I thought it was interesting that there was some admission here that chemotherapy is so damaging to the human organism. Sometimes the cure is worse than the condition and chemotherapy often fits this bill. You may have heard the old joke, "We cured the cancer but killed the patient." Well, for those of you who are in a situation where chemo is your choice or last resort this information may be good to read.

They are making progress. I wish they would find a cure for cancer. It kills so many people world wide each day. Just today, someone told me that an acquaintance also died of cancer after a long battle with chemo and a few weeks ago a distant relative died of cancer as well.
dear anonymous....sorry to hear about the loss of your friend/relative to cancer..
i do work in the health field...and have spoken to many people over the years...and i honestly do not think that the "powers that be" want a cure/vaccine,etc.. for cancer to be released...
unfortunately it's all about money...something/someone has to pay for the tremendous costs of diagnostic/treatment machines, etc...if cancer was cured the cost on the medical world would be devastating....
it's time we take matters in our own hands....the answers to resisting cancer lie in the lifestyle of other countries...
remember "TREATMENT IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN PREVENTION"...and treatment is what the medical world wants to do...
i wish i was wrong...but unfortunately...i'm not....anonymous
If anyone has any experience with fasting before chemo, we'd like to here about it. mcendaffer@hotmail.com
Thanks.
I started chemotherapy in September and have just had my third treatment. I started fasting for two days before chemo and I believe it has helped considerably. This third time, I decided to fast also during the 24 period on the day of the chemo and felt absolutely great 3 days later.
