Prevacid, Nexium, Zantac, etc etc etc.... Boondoggle

Once again the boondoggle over stomach acidity. The medical community continuing to state that millions of Americans suffer from too high stomach acidity and should take any one of the many medications that are used to combat this epidemic. Bunk. Studies have shown that stomach acidity decreases with age and correlates with slow stomach emptying. How can a patient have too much stomach acid and yet have those contents that have now been reduced quickly to a slurry because of high acid levels not leave the stomach regularly. It Makes no sense but is used over and over as a reason for people to begin abusing their stomach and body with these medications for the rest of their life.
