Exercise and Weight Loss for Women

I have always recommended that exercise that nets results must occur four times a week for at least a half hour to forty five minutes. In this recent study it looks like we will all have to step it up a bit. Man, I thought I was doing a good job. Okay time to increase the intensity and pump it up.

How fat are we in Texas ?

I just read this article which lists the percentage of adult obesity in each state. I don't know what happened to Texas. I thought we were always number 1 or 2 for fattest states in the Union. Maybe we Texans are getting our butts in shape.

Atkins was right after all....too bad we let him know after he died

I think this article is worth a read. It proves that some of our current "popular" diets are actually pretty helpful at creating decreases in cholesterol and body weight. Looks like Atkins' plan works the best especially for men. It is unfortunate that he was vilified by the medical community and professionals while he was alive.
